October 1, Dia De los Muertos Show at CantinaSF, 580 Sutter Street, SF 6-9 PM  artists include:  Shawn Griggs, Emilia Garcia, Emmanuel Montoya, Anita DeLuccio and Juan Fuentes, Refreshments served (www.cantinasf.com)

October 2: 10th Annual Prison Art Show at Pier 5 Law, 506 Broadway @ Columbus from 6-9PM, Native American Activist and Political Prisoner Leonard Peltier's work will be included in a group show of inmates from Penitentiaries around the country, hosted by J. Tony Serra, Refreshments served (www.Pier5law.com)

October 16: "Skulls" Show  at 1AM/SF Gallery on 6th & Howard, Shawn Griggs will be part of a group show, three new paintings and one of Shawn's signature surfboards will be featured.  Opening from 6-9, Refreshments served  (www.1AMSF.com)

October 15-November 5: Dia de los Muertos at Puerto Alegre on Valencia btwn 16th & 17th, works by Shawn Griggs and Emilia Garcia
